The book i have chosen is Little Brother by Cory Doctorow.
Why have you chosen this book?
I have chosen this book because of it's fantastic reviews, outstanding awards, and my teacher's recommendation on it.
What about it is spoken to you?
Well in this book there is a lot of technology mentioned. This connects with me because i am an enormous fan of technology. I heard this book is also a very thrilling book to read.
Have you ever read historical fiction before?
Yes i have read historical fiction before. The Giver is one of my favorite historical fiction books because of the books incredible dialgue and twist in the story.
Your history as a reader:
What is your eariest memory of reading?
To be honest, i don't have many great memories with reading. surprisingly, my best time reading was when i read The Maze Runner for my high school Magen David Yeshivah.
Can you challenge yourself to remember your reading experience every year since first grade?
I can't challenge myself since first grade since i don't remember any reading experiences that year, but i did start challenging myself ever since i read The Giver in third grade!
Your relationship with reading:
Do you love reading?
Hate isn't a great word, but i honestly do not love reading because i can sometimes develop a headache when i read. I also hate being bored, and reading is really boring to me!
Is reading hard for you?
Reading isn't hard for me at all, but it can be hard for me to stop what i'm doing in order for me to read.
How often do you get non-school related books?
Shockingly i have only read one book that a school has not assigned for me to read! The book was a Goosebumps series.
Where do you get them from?
I got that one book from the Brooklyn Public Library.
If you don't read books, do you read newspapers or blogs?
Yes, i do read many newspapers, but i don't really ever read blogs.

What do you think about this project?
I don't think this project is challenging, but it does require responsibility. That is because we tell ourselves when to read and blog!
Is it frightening? Exciting?
This project is frightening in some ways because the project is in my hands. it's my responsibility to read and blog on my own time.
How will you manage your time?
I will try to make up an organized schedule to put on my phone and planner that notifies me when to read.
Will you make a schedule for yourself?
Yes, i believe i will make an organized schedule on my planner and mobile device.
What do you think this experience will be like?
I think this will be an important experience that will prepare me for college skills! I also feel it will create a passion for reading in me which can be really important for my future in college.
